Twiteze Imbere hopes to improve the nutrition and incomes of community members by raising and selling pigs in the community. They also hope to improve malnourishment, the amount of compost needed for cultivation, and income streams intended for healthcare and education in the community.

Imminent Roadblocks: This business is experiencing a supply chain dilemma. They did not have enough pig feed to meet the rising supply of pigs. In a short institute, a design team was able to innovate a back-end supply chain fix by building a trailer to attach to the minibus that was being filled with pig feed. This cut down on the cost of feeding pigs and risks associated with lost shipments.
Now they are working on how to innovate a supply chain fix for more professional gating. At present, they lose pigs to wild animals, pigs escape or are stolen, and the way that they are kept is not at a high hygeine level. They would benefit immensely from a new review of local assets to create a more robust housing system, or other solutions!
