ThinkImpact expanded its global operations to Mexico in 2018. Full-time country staff members are based in Oaxaca City, and Institutes typically take place in the Mixteca and Central Valley regions outside of the capital. With Tejiendo Alianzas AC as our strategic partner, ThinkImpact Mexico has already established itself due to the deep ties with local communities cultivated over the last ten years through diverse projects and activities. This has paved the way for countless opportunities for ThinkImpact Scholars to co-create new projects and strengthen those already existing with community residents. Past students have collaborated on small enterprises, ranging from hand-made footwear to organic gluten-free flours, working to create and catalyze economic opportunities.
